Mallincam Control Cables come in two varieties. Control cables for Green LED Cameras (RS485) for the MCHP, and control cables for Red LED Cameras (RS232)VSS/XTreme/Xterminator/Jr. Pro. Green LED cameras utilize an RS232 to RS485 adapter attached to the DB9 adapter that then attaches to your pc's serial port/USB Serial Adapter. Red LED MCHP/VSS/XTreme/Xterminator/Jr. Pro Cameras: Utilize a straight through 8pin to DB9 RS232 serial connection. |

Note: It is the responsibility of the user to provide a working serial port connection, this could be either a physical serial port on their pc, or via a USB serial adapter. I provide the cable only, not instructions on how to install a serial port adapter.
