Greek Mythology: Neptune is the god of the sea.

Neptune is the eighth planet from the Sun. Neptune revolves around the Sun in about 164.8 years at a distance of about 4.5 billion kilometers (2.8 billion miles).

Neptune has a diameter of about 24,000 kilometers (15,000 miles), and a mass 17.2 times that of the Earth.
